Other Aquatic Exercises

  • Water resistance exercises to target specific muscle groups, aqua jogging using floatation belts to get full body workout.

  • Noodle Exercises: Pool noodles are helpful for several aqua exercises. These noodles will be available in gym and in sports shops. You can perform exercises like twisting, scissor kicks, and abdominal crunches to engage multiple muscle groups.

  • Aqua circuit training: Combining a variety of water based exercises in a circuit format, where students move through different stations to work on different muscle groups and desired fitness regime.

Aquatic aerobics are fun. Those who don’t know how to swim can also perform aerobics by restricting to certain water level and with help of an instructor. Those who have preexisting medical conditions should seek guidance from healthcare professional before starting water aerobics.
