Cinnamon is spicy, sweet spice. The bark of cinnamon tree is what we use. Infact the leaves and other parts of this plant has same properties! It is good for heart conditions, loaded with antioxidants namely polyphenols, it improves sensitivity for insulin hormones, known to reduce cholesterol. It also has powerful anti-diabetic property and reduces blood sugar level. Green tea contains catechins and burns the calories and fat in the body and because of less processed green tea retains much of its goodness, like antioxidants and phytonutrients that make it a superstar among superfoods.
Combine both cinnamon and green tea for better effect. Cinnamon can be added to curries and one can have powdered cinnamon with little honey.
