Coriander, Ginger and Black Pepper Kashaya
Ingredients:
- Coriander seeds – 1 Tbsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Cumin – ½ tsp
- Jaggery – 1 Tbsp
- Water – 3 cups
- Milk – 1 cup
Method:
- Together coarse grind coriander, ginger, black pepper and cumin seeds.
- Boil water and add the powder mix.
- Add jaggery and continue boiling for few more minutes (till you get that good aroma).
- Strain and add boiled milk and drink when the liquid is hot.
Benefits:
All three ingredients known to reduce cold symptoms. Good for reducing stomach ache and bloating. Helps to reduce arthritis pain.
