Diabetic friendly fruit papaya should be included in diet to keep sugar at bay. Reasons to include papaya rather than other fruits in our diet are:
Scientifically it is proven that papaya is good for diabetic condition. One medium size papaya supplies 120 calories, 4.7 grams of fiber, beta carotene, choline, vitamin K, Vitamin C and it contains good amount of water. Being a fiber rich fruit, papaya is helpful in controlling blood glucose, lipid and insulin levels. Including papaya in diet also reduces cell obstruction and damage!
How to consume papaya?
Papaya fresh fruit, papaya juice, raw papaya curry and adding papaya fruit in salad etc.
