One of the most well-researched nutrients, Vitamin C has shown great promise in the fight against cancer, both in prevention and disease-management.  European Journal of Cancer suggests us to consume vitamin C either through supplements or natural food source. Not only is vitamin C a strong antioxidant but is also known to have anti-carcinogenic effects and helps to reduce oxidative stress.

Research studies show that high dose of vitamin C not only fights cancerous tumor cells but also protects the healthy cells.

Following vegetables & fruits contain vitamin c: Oranges, red peppers, kale, Brussels sprout, broccoli, strawberries, Indian gooseberry, grapefruit, guava, pineapple.
