Vitamin B6 prevents breast cancer

A research study conducted at University of Hawaii Cancer Center, PLP (Pyridoxal-5-phosphate), a very active vitamin B6 form helps prevent breast cancer. Results of this research revealed that women with high concentrations of PLP had 40% low risk of developing breast cancer than women, who did not.

This B-Vitamin is essential to maintain a healthy immune system and helps protect the respiratory tract from pollution and infection.  In studies it has helped protect against cervical cancer.

Where it is present? Vitamin B-6 is primarily found in, apples, organ meats, bananas, leafy green vegetables, and sweet potatoes.
