Our tongue is unique

Not just our finger has unique identify factor, our tongue also has unique prints.

Well, no one can use it for “identity print” as it looks ridiculous!

Like finger tips, human tongues carry important identifiable information of a person. Each tongue is unique in the sense, it is not only has different shape but also visible texture and is unique for each person.

Tongue texture can help others identify a body similar to finger prints. Yes, those bumps and ridges that appear on tongue is unique for each person.

Bumps in the tongue contain more  than 10,000 taste buds, each one filled with microscopic hair like structure called microvilli. Microvilli sense the taste of our food – sweet, sour, salty, bitter etc and send the information to our brain.

Belief is that researchers are developing 3D machines to scan the tongue for the comparison in the data base!
