When we look at ourselves in a mirror we may start blaming ourselves. We convince ourselves that we are not good looking. This is negative body image.
1. A distorted perception of your shape–you perceive parts of your body unlike they really are.
2. You are convinced that only other people are attractive and that your body size or shape is a sign of personal failure.
3. You feel ashamed, self-conscious, and anxious about your body.
4. You feel uncomfortable and awkward in your body.
