One lemon has more than 100 percent of daily intake of Vitamin C.  It also increases good cholesterol levels and helps in strengthening the bones. The citrus flavonoids present in lemons may help in inhibiting cancer cells. As a refreshing drink, lemonade helps one to stay calm and cool. Lemon also helps in strengthening of bones. Lemon water flushes out toxins and Is extremely  beneficial for the body. When life gives you lemon make lemonade out of it!

Did you know? Lemons are acidic to the taste, but are alkaline-forming in the body. In fact, they are one of the most alkaline-forming foods; this makes them great for balancing a highly acidic condition in the body. And, adding lemon to green tea helps in absorption of antioxidants present in the tea!
