Varieties of foods: Allow children to prepare small dishes. Ask them to search for simple, easy recipes. If they want to bake then watch and help them – let them cook under your supervision.
Give them simple recipes like salad, mixture, toast, sandwich, pancake preparation. Eventually they will learn about varieties of foods. They might take a like towards the food that they did not like before.
Constant exposure to certain fruits, vegetables and other types of healthy food, will make them feel more relaxed about tasting new foods – traditional, international and all kind of foods!
