Acne: Acne is a disease that affects oil glands of skin. Our skin contains pores and through follicle these pores connect to oil glands. Oil glands produce a substance called sebum.

When the follicle clogs up it results in pimple or acne. It is one of the most common skin condition.  Some people get acne more in their teenage. Whereas, in many, acne continue to appear even after they pass teenage years.

If not treated acne will create permanent scars on face and other part of body. There are many OTC drugs available and talk to your doctor to find out which is the best one.

Reducing oil intake and staying away from fried food items helps to recover. Washing face and keeping face dirt free is recommended. Use good soap to wash face. Some of the home remedies do wonder on acne and acne disappears.

Eczema: In medical terms Eczema is called atopic dermatitis. It is a long-term skin disease. Symptom include itchy skin, rashes and dryness of the skin. It happens on face, behind knees, hands, feet and face. Eczema affects many people because it involves immune system, asthma, hay fever and inflammation of skin – all these are common conditions associated with eczema.

Some outgrow the condition when they reach adulthood, but in many it continues throughout adulthood. Foods such as nuts, dairy can trigger eczema. Environmental conditions like pollen, smoke also play role in causing eczema. It is not a contagious condition. There is no treatment that cures eczema. Symptoms must be managed based on the sources.
