Do cracking knuckles causes arthritis?

No, it is not! Knuckle cracking helps to loosens the stiffness in finger.

Many people have the habit of cracking knuckles and they do so when fingers feel tired, or over worked or even when bored.

The belief is that cracking knuckles often leads to arthritis or early onset of arthritis.

Crack is popping bubbles in the synovial fluid that lubricated fingers/joints.

Cracking does not give arthritis but too much of cracking can reduce the grip strength and joints can become weak.
