Have good dental hygiene. Brush your teeth, floss and use mouthwash at least twice a day. If you want, you could also whiten your teeth, but know that once you start, it’s hard to turn back (really just brushing well, thoroughly, you can often notice a loss of stains) and whitening your teeth will not look natural or last long, when you really just need them to feel and look healthy, so just brush regularly.
- Toothbrushes should be replaced every few months, and after you are ill.
- Brush your teeth with fluoridated toothpaste after every meal and floss at least once a day.
- Cut down on the amount of sugar and sweets you eat, and how often you eat them.
- Go to the dentist regularly for check-ups.
